We can’t wait for our next Cretan reunion!
After wrapping up another wonderful season, we think back fondly on all the precious moments we shared and memories we made! We were, once again, thrilled to see new guests taken in by the overwhelming beauty of Elounda and our celebrated services, while old guests returned to their luxury home away from home for another enchanting holiday.
The summer launch united us again in our signature atmosphere of Cretan authenticity. Guests enjoyed serene bliss, locally sourced gastronomy, and sun soaked afternoons on the seafront at our Private Beach Club, where the eternal blue meets EGV personalized service over soft golden sands.
Between in-villa BBQs and poolside lounging, guests selected from a range of therapies for their spa sessions performed by our team of Wellness experts. Guided tours to Spinalonga, yachting sessions, and curated themed nights, were just some among the myriad other activities on deck.
First time visitors to Crete, as well as old ones, had the opportunity to become acquainted with the native culture on trips to important vineyards, olive farms, as well as visits to the renovated Archaeological Museum of Heraklion and astounding archaeological sites where guests discover the treasures of the Minoan Period.
This year closed on an especially positive note with Elounda Gulf Villas winning the Luxury Villa Resort-Greece distinction at the 2021 World Luxury Hotel Awards. We were honored to be chosen among the best contenders in Greek tourism. EGV is a portal to a captivating world of hospitality and this year saw another batch of unforgettable experiences added to our always growing collection.
We are very grateful to have spent the 2021 season together and look forward to greeting our cherished guests in the next season and all the seasons to come.
